USHA changed the calendar to 4/1 - 3/31 so all hockey memberships need to be updated before participating in summer camps.  Go to the hockey web site www.usahockey.com and select membership red button and then select register on line.

We've added two new programs to our association.  You may receive information on both the JV High School Team and U-19 Girls Team buy navigating the links below.

Please take a moment to recruit some of your neighbors, friends, and other family members in to the Basic Hockey Skating Skills program sponsored by the rink.  The program will begin on September 14th and run through October 26th.  There will be seven, one hour sessions on Monday evenings from 5:30-6:30pm.  The target audience for this program is for anyone interested in playing youth Hockey, ages 3-19, boys and girls.  The fee is $70.

The intent of the program is to provide a developmental foundation for players to participate in the McCall Youth Hockey season beginning in November. 

It is extremely important that you reach out to as many prospective kids as you can, as the more kids we have involved with the program the lower your registration fees will be.  For the last couple of years, MYH has experienced a decline in our numbers, bottoming out last season at 49 players and three teams.  We need 40 players and three teams in order to be considered a voting member of IAHA and receive funding from their programs.  Additionally, we would like to add Mini Mite (3-6) and girls U-18 programs to our association and may only be able to do so with a successful developmental program.

Once again, please exercise your due diligence to ensure that your kids will always have an opportunity to play McCall Hockey by shaking the trees, rattling the bushes and doing whatever it takes to get more kids hooked into youth hockey via the rink’s “Basic Hockey Skills Program”.
